I always like doing horror bits, so I wanted to do something centered around a home invasion with a quasi-Twin Peaks atmosphere; heavy on the synth; heavy on the absurdity. I am not good at taking myself seriously. I purposefully made the voice elements a bit ridiculous. Ultimately, my project is a horror schematic that traipses on the dadaist fringe. Someone’s running the bath, and they can’t hear that an unwanted presence is stalking around the house. The clip ends in a confrontation between the victim and the assailant. I chose this theme because I am irrationally afraid of a home invasion, and this is me trying to pull some levity out of that scenario.
